Outplacement: the Next Step programme
Outplacement by Kenhardt focuses on guiding employees, looking for the next step in their career.
Challenge
Is it time for the next career step? Whether forced or not?
- Surplus time due to a reorganisation or merger?
- Changing requirements from the organisation in terms of job content?
- Personal wishes regarding development and growth?
And would you like support in doing so?
The solution
Kenhardt’s Next Step programme offers the solution. Through an action-oriented programme, insights, skills and tools are given that enable the participant to take the next step in their career.
Duration
The programme typically runs for three to four months and includes five coaching meetings of 2 hours each, or several online ‘remote’ sessions.
Methodology
Outplacement proceeds in three distinct phases.
Phase 1: Intake
Acceptance of the situation
- During the first meeting, attention is paid to the current situation and the basis of trust is created for successful implementation of the pathway;
- Making concrete agreements for the duration of the trajectory;
- Agenda planning;
- Self-analysis.
Phase 2: Insight and direction
Insight into personal ambitions, capacities, skills, knowledge and experience
- The participant is given good, validated tools to gain insight, and, based on his/her report, makes his/her own initial impetus for a plan of action for the implementation of the coaching sessions;
- Kenhardt provides the structure, forms an objective sounding board and provides critical feedback on the way to the next step.
Phase 3: Action
Sessions in this phase focus on the future and guiding the participant towards a new challenge. We are not looking for a new job. Our activities are supportive:
- CV check, LinkedIn profile, proper use of social media;
- Training attitude and behaviour in job interviews;
- Presentation skills;
- Networking;
- Exercising optimal influence during the selection process;
- Selecting vacancies;
- Etc.
We like to keep the momentum going
- Turnaround time from 60 working days to a maximum of six months;
- The intake takes place within five days of registration;
- After the intake, the assessment or diagnosis takes place;
- Then five coaching meetings of 2 to 3 hours each;
- Kenhardt ensures a quick start and pace during the process.
The result
Upon completion of the programme, participants work confidently, independently, motivated and effectively on their own future.
Participants’ experiences
- “This really helped me.”
- “Never thought I would go in this direction.”
- “Received wonderful practical actionable suggestions.”
- “Because of this course I got a new job quickly, thanks!”
- “Pleasant, personal approach.”
