An assessment makes a statement about people’s suitability and potential. Conducting it requires knowledge of various assessment methods and how predictive they are. It also requires skills in interviewing, evoking behaviour and, of course, assessing it.

 

Organisations have an interest in an efficient and effective selection process. Getting optimum returns from selection is about tracing a suitable candidate as quickly as possible using the best tools and methods at the lowest cost. To this end, we offer you a modular training programme.

Fundamental Selection Training

Fundamental Selection Training is for everyone involved in selection. After the training, the participant is able to function as a professional in a selection process. The basic principles of selection are explained, attention is paid to the predictive values of various selection instruments and training is given in conducting structured interviews, using the STAR technique. This technique asks for concrete examples of past behaviour. After all, past behaviour is a good predictor of the future.

This hands-on training – given by professional trainers, in small groups – is highly appreciated.

Professional Selection Training

The Professional Selection Training is designed for professionals who conduct selection interviews independently. Recruiters, HR officers and line managers who are responsible for setting up recruitment and selection processes. After refreshing the most important knowledge from the Fundamental Training, training is given on in-depth techniques, making connections between competencies, personality and drives, using job descriptions, job analysis techniques, applying psychometric tests and learning to combine techniques and designing recruitment and selection processes.

Seasoned professionals will come into their own even more through this training.

Train-the-trainer (training & audit)

The train-the-trainer programme has been developed for professionals who want to be able to provide Fundamental and Professional Selection Training within their own organisation. You follow this programme after you have been trained yourself. At the end, you will receive all the materials you need to be able to deliver the training within your own organisation. During a one-day audit, we will assess how well you can deliver this training in practice.
